The TAHIRAH CARE Association benefits from the commitment and expertise of Professor Saïd Norou DIOP, a renowned internist and international lecturer, whose career is part of a dynamic of medical cooperation between France and Senegal, with a wider opening onto the African continent.
PROFESSIONAL CAREER
Former Head of Service at the National Diabetes Centre for two decades (1997–2017), Professor DIOP dedicated his career to medical excellence, training health professionals and transmitting knowledge, contributing to the development of medical skills across Francophone Africa.
As coordinator of metabolic disease teaching in Senegal's medical schools, he has trained many generations of doctors and continues to teach at various universities, working to strengthen medical capacity and disseminate knowledge regionally.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
His work focuses primarily on endocrine and metabolic diseases. He has contributed to the organization of care and the development of diabetes research at the national and continental levels, thus participating in the improvement of medical practices.

As Vice-President of the TAHIRAH CARE Association, he takes part in the governance and definition of the strategic vision of the association.
He also serves as a medical advisor, putting his scientific expertise at the service of the quality of care for patients with autoimmune diseases, in a dynamic of Franco-Senegalese cooperation and openness towards the African continent.
His commitment demonstrates his constant desire to improve the quality of care and strengthen synergies between healthcare stakeholders internationally.
